EthosCE Versions 7.84.1 and 7.85 

This month’s releases include product enhancements, new features, essential bug fixes and more.  

Included in this release: 

• Updates to the definitions of terms on the global disclosure form 
• Addition of SMS opt-in text on the user profile 
• Fixes to email language for credit approval and rejection from reporting bodies

Changes 

CORE-5067: Update disclosure definitions to match the ACCME guidelines

We have updated the definitions on the faculty disclosure form to better align with recent updates to ACCME’s Glossary of Terms.

CORE-5126: Remove internal test suite updates causing fatal SSO error for some clients 

We have resolved an issue that resulted in inability to login via SSO for a small number of customers. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. 

Additions 

CORE-5098: Add SMS opt-in help text to mobile tab to adhere to Twilio A2P approval requirements.  

To meet Twilio’s terms of service, we have added SMS opt-in language required to the user profile.  The opt-in text reads as follows: 

“By entering your phone number into our site, you consent to receive SMS messages from [your site name] related to your course enrollments, event updates, and continuing education credits. Message frequency will vary based on your interactions and activities. Standard data rates may apply. To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive”

EthosCE Version 7.85 

Changes  

CORE-5070: Update credit reporter email language to be more agnostic  

We have made some small updates to our credit acceptance and credit rejection email template text to work better with state and MOC board reporting. This update will make the meaning of the acceptance and rejection email clearer to end users. 

CORE-5105: Update Twitter social media logo to X 

We have updated the logos in our social media share block to align with Twitter’s rebrand to X.

CORE-5128: SA-CONTRIB-2024-039. Update Security Kit module to 7.x-1.13 

This security update brings EthosCE’s Security Kit module to the latest version to ensure the safety and security of your site. 

CORE-5128: SA-CONTRIB-2024-040. Update File Entity module to 7.x-2.40 

This security update brings EthosCE’s File Entity module to the latest version to ensure the safety and security of your site.
