EthosCE Release Notes

November 2025

EthosCE Version 7.98

Release Date:

  • Test Sites: November 5, 2025
  • Production Sites: November 12, 2025

This month’s release includes product enhancements, essential bug fixes, updates, and more. Included in this release:

  • Expose course profile blocker for staff configuration (CORE-5383)
  • Fix autocomplete matching for entries with special characters in MOCA content outline (CORE-5408)
  • Fix some report exports accidentally combining rows (CORE-5413)
  • Remove anonymous user access to email forward form (CORE-5407)

Additions

  • CORE-5383: Expose course profile blocker for staff configuration. Staff can now configure an enrollment blocker based on the value of a user’s profile field. This improvement empowers staff to manage access rules directly, reducing reliance on the engineering team.

Fixes

  • CORE-5408: Fix autocomplete matching for entries with special characters in MOCA content outline. Previously, when entering data for the “ABA MOCA Content Outline” under the ACCME tab of a course, the autocomplete feature did not function correctly. This fix restores proper matching for entries with special characters.
  • CORE-5413: Fix some report exports accidentally combining rows. When downloading CSV files for reports such as the Global Course Report or RSS Group Report, some rows were being combined incorrectly. This fix ensures that report data exports accurately reflect separate rows as intended.

Changes

  • CORE-5407: Remove anonymous user access to email forward form. The “Forward a link to a page” feature is now restricted to logged-in users. This change improves data security and prevents misuse by unauthenticated visitors.
