In this month’s release, we identified and fixed several bugs in the system. The release includes several different enhancements and new features including updates to Registration, Scorecard, Education Harvester, Expo Harvester, the Eventscribe Mobile App and the Eventscribe Website.

Registration: Sync error to Eventscribe
Some accounts were failing to sync properly from Registration to Eventscribe. As a solution to the error that was received in Registration, additional triggers were removed from the API.
Scorecard: Reviewer Conflict Tool Not Working Properly
The Avoid Reviewer Conflict checker that is configured in step 3 of the Review Assignment tool was not calculating properly when ‘no’ was selected to ignore reviewer conflicts.
When rendering the "Preview Assignments" file, it would always say that there were no conflicts. Specifically, the conflict checker did not note a conflict in the reviewer email domain with the submitter and submission author email domains. This was fixed and identified conflicts are not assigned when a user selects ‘no’ as the answer to the question: "Do you want to avoid reviewer conflicts?" in step 3 of the Review Assignment tool.
Education Harvester: New Presentation Index report
A new version of the Presentation Index One Pager report has been released and the older version has been sunset. The new version of the report has been improved to run more efficiently and quickly.
Education Harvester: Off-Label Disclosure Character Count
When using the off-label disclosure component inside of the disclosure tasks (presentation or event-based), users were receiving an error message when their off-label disclosure responses exceeded 150 characters. We have added validation and a warning message to this page within the task if a user exceeds 150 characters.
Education Harvester: Removal of Duplicate Disclosures in Dropdown
To streamline the disclosure selection process for returning speakers, a new feature has been added that prevents the display of duplicate records to a user when selecting a previously entered disclosure record. The dropdown will only display unique financial relationships associated with companies. Speakers may still see multiple records of the company in the drop down, but each financial relationship is unique.
Education Harvester: CC’d email address to Reviewers not holding
When emailing reviewers through the communication module and entering an email to be cc’d when reviewers received their emails, the cc’d email address was not receiving the email. This has now been fixed and the cc’d email address will receive each email that a reviewer receives.
Expo Harvester: Popups opening inconsistently for embedded websites
For clients embedding an eventScribe Website iFrame into an external webpage, presentation information was inconsistently opening in either a popup or a full page. This information should always open as a full page regardless of the settings for the eventScribe Website. This was fixed so now when a user clicks on a presentation in an embedded eventScribe Website iFrame, information will consistently open as a full page.
Expo Harvester: Booth short links not working
When clicking a booth short link, it would open as a blank screen. This has been fixed so a booth short link now correctly opens the booth popup on the Eventscribe Website.
Expo Harvester: Product showcase assets not loading properly
When clicking on a product within the product showcase tab of the booth popup, it would open the Eventscribe Website homepage. This has been fixed and now the product information will display as expected.
Expo Harvester: On-demand videos not playing for some users
When a user with special characters in their name tried to view an on-demand video, it would not load. This was due to an issue with the integration between Eventscribe and Warpwire Live. This was fixed and now these users can view videos as expected.
Mobile App: iOS is not displaying date and day also in Happening Now tile
We have identified and addressed the issue with the sorting order of the "Happening Now" session on iOS. Furthermore, the missing Date and Day information on iOS has been rectified to align with the correct display on Android. Additionally, to enhance the user experience, we have successfully incorporated the date into the title of the "Happening Now" tile.
Mobile App: Android is not respecting the release rules for content
We identified a logic error related to enabling/disabling buttons for content. We have successfully corrected the logic, and the application is now functioning as intended.
Mobile App: Presentations on Android not sorting by start/end time
We have fine-tuned our code to make sure presentations are now sorted accurately based on their start and end times. Previously, the sorting based on end time was not exactly right, but we have fixed this issue to give you a seamless and organized viewing experience.
Mobile App: Android and IOS now show and hide pronouns
On the Speaker profile page, Poster Presenter profile page, and App User profile page, if pronouns have been set, they will now show on those pages. Additionally, we have added the ability to hide the collection field from displaying for the App User profile page and the ability to hide the pronouns from displaying on Speaker/Presenter pages.
myCadmium: Removal of ‘My Data’ link
Because Cadmium is a data processor and not data controller, the “My Data” link directing users to https://www.cadmiumcd.com/mydata has been removed from product footers.
