Eventscribe Onsite: NEW! Speaker Ready System Widgets
The Eventscribe Onsite dashboard now displays module widgets for Stations, the module associated with Speaker Ready System.
Onsite users with access to the Stations module will automatically have access to these widgets.
Registration: Updated Column Width in Attendee Custom Report
Previously, to improve report download speed, if an Attendee Custom Report was over 5000 rows, or over 3000 rows AND 150 columns, columns were not auto sized. This created an Excel error when any column had a width of more than 255 characters. The logic for custom reports has been updated so that when larger reports are run, the system will check the column width for each and auto size if they are more than 255 characters, which resolves this error.
Registration: Self Service UDF Errors
The registrant self-service page has been updated to resolve a few issues related to radio button UDFs. Previously, certain registration form layouts were preventing radio button UDFs from displaying correctly. They are now required in self-service if set to be required, and dynamic filtering logic regarding radio button UDF responses is now displaying accurately.
Registration: Select Course and Events Page Improvements
The “Select Courses and Events” page has been updated to allow administrators to select events for registrants via the Registrant Detail page, even if they are sold out. They will continue to indicate the Sold Out status, but will have a checkbox, allowing them to be selected.
Selection of events without a cost now correctly updates the registrant’s record within Website and Mobile App user record. Previously, this action did not trigger a sync of the record between Registration and Website/Mobile App records.
Scorecard: ‘Other’ options selected in survey task not displaying in reports
The abstract task functionality in Scorecard supports three customizable questions within a Submission. Each of these questions supports a field "type". One of these types is a "checkbox" setting that allows the user to select from multiple checkboxes. If an ‘Other’ option is present, the user is able to enter text into a free-form field. Previously, when the ‘Other’ field was checked, the ‘Other’ field text would display in these reports, and any other checkbox selections would not display for the associated row. To resolve this issue, we have updated the logic for these three custom fields as so:
- If the ‘Other’ field is empty, the default selections will display
- If the ‘Other’ field is not empty, all selections + the ‘Other’ field selection will display
- If an ‘Other’ selection has accompanying text, it will display with all selections + "Other - <Text>"
Scorecard: Co-author block truncating in submission index reports
Submission index reports default to display a single "co-author" block column when 10 or more co-authors exist on a single presentation, as opposed to a column per co-author. There was an issue with this truncation in the column and co-author names were not displaying. Now, if 10 or more co-authors are identified in any Scorecard’s submissions, the co-authors are still combined into one column with ';' as a delineator between the names.
