Improvement
Simplified Certification CSV Upload
The certification upload now uses a single Action column to tell Elevate what you want to do for each user. Instead of combining separate on/off fields, you choose one of four values:
- initial_enrollment – Enroll the user in the certification only
- enroll_and_earn – Enroll the user and grant the initial earning
- enroll_for_recertification – Enroll the user for recertification, without granting the recertification earning
- enroll_and_earn_recertification – Enroll the user and grant the recertification earning
Anything other than these four values returns a clear validation message, so it's easy to see and correct a mistake before the import runs. (June 2, 2026)
Fix
Messaging Privacy Improvements
The "Who can send me messages?" setting now applies everywhere in Elevate. When a learner chooses to receive messages from admins only, non-admins can no longer message them, even through an existing connection. Older conversations stay visible, but new messages that break the preference are blocked rather than delivered. Admins can always reach any member when they need to, so your team is never locked out of contacting a learner. (June 2, 2026)
Quiz Image Loading Fix
Images embedded in quiz questions now display reliably for registrants. We've improved how Elevate loads and verifies images within quiz questions, so learners consistently see every image as the question was built. The update is live across affected quizzes. (June 2, 2026)
Granting Recertifications by CSV Upload
When you upload a CSV to grant a recertification to someone who has already earned the certification, the import now processes it correctly. Recertification is the expected next step for an already-earned certification, and the upload handles it as such. If a recertification falls outside the certification's "Recertification Period Begins" window, you'll see a clear message explaining why, rather than a generic error, and each recertification now creates a single, accurate enrollment record.
