Eventscribe Release 2024.08

This release includes several enhancements, product upgrades and bug fixes. 

Included in this release:

Registration

• Names with special characters correctly triggering the "Names must have proper capitalization" rule
• Order Number and Transaction ID added to “Transactions by Date” report with “Section Information by Line” enabled

• Bucketing by Last Name in Communication module Email Options step

Registration: Names with special characters correctly triggering the "Names must have proper capitalization" rule

When the "Names must have proper capitalization" rule was enabled, the system was incorrectly treating special characters such as à, é, î, œ, ü, or ñ incorrectly, which caused the "Names must have proper capitalization" errors to display. We have updated the logic to treat all lowercase or uppercase special characters the same as English lower- and upper-case characters.

Registration: Order Number and Transaction ID added to “Transactions by Date” report with “Section Information by Line” enabled

When running the 'Transaction by Date' report with 'Section Information by Line' checked, Order Number and Transaction ID columns were missing. These fields have been added as the last 2 columns to the end of the report.

Scorecard: Bucketing by Last Name in Communication module Email Options step

The Scorecard communication module now displays users bucketed by their last name. This functionality is used when choosing the users that you want to send an email to. Previously, this was just an alphabetical list by last name. Bucketing allows you to easily choose a segment of users that you want to send an email to.

Scorecard: Images in reports are no longer cutting off

Images uploaded through the upload task in Scorecard were cut off in various PDF reports. The logic to resize these images has been updated to match the width of the report being exported. 

Scorecard: New version of the Submission Index Report Added

An additional version of the New Submission Index report to the Scorecard is now available. This latest version has improved optimization of the page load. Previously, a report was loading in 45 seconds and now loads in 3 seconds. This new version of the report is ideal for customers with large data sets and complex Scorecard configurations. 

Expo Harvester: Fixed an error with downloading a zip file from the upload task 

There was an issue with the process to rename files when exporting a zip file from the upload task due to special characters in the company name field. An update was made to remove invalid path characters from the file name. Users should now be able to download a zip file from the upload task without issue.

Onsite: Implemented the Ability to Update Account Name

In the account menu there is now the option to select Manage Account. This will allow a user to edit the first and last name on their account. After you edit your account on the manage account screen, you can then reload Onsite to see the first and last name updated.
