Eventscribe Release 2025.10

Eventscribe Release Notes

October 2025

This month's release includes product updates, new features, enhancements, and essential bug fixes.

Included in this release:

Updates

Registration – Cadmium Payments in Registration

Registration will be transitioning to use Cadmium Payments, Cadmium's centralized credit card processing system, beginning January 5, 2026.  New events created in Registration after January 5th will default to use Cadmium Payments.  Learn more about Cadmium Payments here.

With this shift, the following features will no longer be available for events created after January 5, 2026:

  • ACH
  • Partial Payments/Deposits set at dollar amounts (percentage-based deposits will still be supported)
  • Credit card processing with the following processors:
    • iTransact
    • CardPointe
    • PayPal Payments Pro

Please note that all events created prior to January 5, 2026, will continue to process transactions using the current payment integrations.  No action is required for this service to continue.

New Features

Cadmium Payments – Customer-Managed Merchant Account Creation and Deletion

Customers can now create and delete merchant accounts within Cadmium Payments using an Access PIN for security purposes.

Learn more about Access PIN setup here.

Enhancements

Website – Ribbon Synchronization Between App and Website

We’ve improved how ribbons sync between the app and website.  Ribbons now automatically appear and remain consistent across both profiles once a user logs into an event, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience for attendees.

Fixes

Expo – Registration Badges Task Now Fully Locked After Cutoff Date

An issue where the Registration Badges task was not completely locked when the cutoff date was reached has been resolved.  Previously, while the task displayed a locked message and prevented submission, users could still interact with badge entries and use the Assign Badge, Edit, and Unassign buttons in the details popup.

The task has been updated so that all action buttons are now disabled when the cutoff date is reached.  The buttons will appear muted and non-functional, preventing any changes to badge assignments or details while the task is locked.

Note: The export button remains available even when the task is locked, allowing you to download reports of your task data at any time.

Scorecard – Twitter Logo Updated to X Logo in Scorecard Footer

The logo displayed in the footer for the Scorecard portal has been updated from the Twitter logo to the X logo.
