This month, we're excited to announce the release of Cadmium Payments.  This release also includes essential bug fixes.

Cadmium Payments in Registration

Cadmium Payments is a centralized platform that allows customers to easily manage their payment collection needs while prioritizing security across all Cadmium products.  Starting January 5, 2026, all new events created in Registration will default to using Cadmium Payments.  Learn more about Cadmium Payments in Registration here.

Education Harvester – Upload Task Improvements

We've adjusted how upload task files are downloaded to enhance security and reliability.  Files are now streamed directly to users instead of being stored in temporary public locations, eliminating shared access and reducing the risk of conflicts.  Some file types (such as PDFs) may now download instead of opening in a new browser tab.

Expo Harvester – Partial Payment Refunds with Braintree

Fixed an issue that caused some partial refunds on Braintree payments to return the full payment amount instead of the intended partial amount.

Expo Harvester – Improved Error Message when Session is Lost

We've improved the experience when a system timeout occurs after a rental payment is submitted.  Instead of seeing a generic error screen, users will now receive clear instructions on what to do next, helping prevent accidental duplicate payments.
